Chilean Pracerie~ New Cria~

Medium Grey, 279664, Breeding

Chilean Pracerie AKA Mocha has beautiful head that reminds me of the Argentine llama's, it is very square with lots of fiber. She was last measured around 38 inches. She has been bred to JLL Midas for a Feb. 2011 cria. UPDATE: Mocha had her cria March 28th, a beautiful male with nice fiber and at least three colors(white, fawn, and grey)

  JLL Midas
    Pattern, 272367, Breeding,Mini

Midas has nice conformation and good bone density. Midas has very fine guard hair that is hardly noticeable and his micron came back as a 22.5 at 32 months old. He is smaller, last we measured he was 40 inches. He has a nice disposition and is very easy to handle and catch. He settled his first two females and it only took him 2 breeding's for the first female and one for the second. The females are do March 2011. Both females are from PPF Prancero. UPDATE: Midas' first cria is on the ground! Its a beautiful strong boy, with nice fiber and amazing color(white, fawn, and grey)

Born a storng 24.8 pounds with strong conformation from the time he was born. His fiber is beautiful and has nice luster, and he has very little gaurd hair. As of now, his colors appear to be fawn, white, and grey. He already has a very proud upright presence. I cant wait to show this boy next year.

We are going to stand Kahlua at stud next year. We love how he is maturing and he is looking more and more like his sire Midas. His bones are large and his fiber has beautiful locks that are from his head to his legs and it looks like his fiber will cover him down to his toes like his mom. He is a great example of the quality we want to produce! Kahlua will be going to his first show in May and will be shown in Halter and Fleece.

  Awards Received
2012: Kahlua took a 3rd in a class of 6 at his first show. The 5 animals in his class were all part or full Argentines and around 20 months old, so we feel that Kahlua did great being compared to older males! In fleece on he got a 5th and bagged fleece got a 2nd, his fineness, hand, and brightness all got 8's and 9's out of 10.

2013: COLA show in Prineville, OR. Kahlua got 2 firsts and a reserve grand champion. He was also shown in fleece on and at 26 months scored an 80.5 out of 100. He got 12.5 out of 15 for fineness and 8 out of 10 for density! His 2013 micron sample will be sent off soon too!
